So no Puki Mary! Matthieu tried to use his credit card and Featherfall said no to credit cards. So I went to try the order on my computer and boom, it goes tits up. Matt tried fixing it, but it's screwed for sure :/

So today, instead of getting a dollie we went out and got me one of them tiny laptops XD It's so freakin' small and cute. Matt set it up for me, and now I've been going about and posting some pictures. Still getting used to this tiny keyboard though o_O;;

This xmas was pretty chill, but I met a lot of people. Matt's Mom's side wanted to meet me, so we ended up going over to a cousin's place for snacks. We slept the night at his Mum's then opened a copious amount of gifts. After that we went to visit with his dad's side and all his cousins. We sat at the cousin table, and munched a bit. I did really well at eating veggies. Then we came home and karmicbecca came over for the night. It was pretty good. ^_^ I'm so lucky to have such generous people in my life, good friends and family.

So not only did I pass my test and have my beginners, but I also have the pleasure of skipping the graduated licensing program XD This means if I wanted to I could do my road test tomorrow ^_^ Haven't driven yet on it though...first time being legal and I sat in the passenger seat o_O; Oh well, it's allowed since it was Kevin's car and in the end he ended up paying for the license by mistake o_O;; I plowed into him in thanks, forgetting his arm was sore -_-; *is always a total klutz, but gad Matt thinks it's cute* ^_^;

So I got Lotus back from cats10 through artemiselani (thanks ladies!! XD) and her face-up is super cute! I still don't know about her though, but Matt told me I am not alowed to sell any more dolls unless I truly dislike them. I don't truly dislike her, so she's staying for a bit and I'm going to try things on her. I tried a red wig on her, which is what she's wearing now borrowed from piratelooksat20 and the color suits her much more than black, so now the search is for style. Something that is short and fur I think and I have a few ideas on what I want for her now and I found a place that does styled fur wigs that would totally suit her. I tried Momo's wig on her and fiddled with it and it was cute <3

No word yet on my Grandpa, it seems he is in good spirits, but sometimes disgruntled. I would be too fading in and out of reality and not knowing the difference. I have to start reading a lot more, make my mind more active. I have a feeling that can help and am glad for mental stimulation like Guitar Hero or DDR...I honestly think reading pattern that fast is good mental exercise ^_^ Nevermind the bodily workout with DDR, I resolve to play some more today. I can move pretty quick for a chubby girl XD

Thanks again to shadowsouled for lending me his camera. I went and took images of my dolls for the first time in what feels like forever =_=; I have the beginnings of a photostory, and I did all the dishes laast night so I have lots of time today to muck about with the kids. Hopefully it will be warm today so I can do some outside stuff...we'll see how brave I get ^_^;;

Life here is still amazing. Derick has been added to my family as a brother. He's such an awesome person and always fun to have around. Shawn is quiet usually, and hides a lot, but when it's just me, or Matt and I we hang out and have some laughs. He's really chill. He doesn't like going out to the club with us and is usually glad to be working the nights we go out lol

I've met quite a few of Derick's friends, and they're all welcome here anytime, all just as cool as my bro ^_^ And everyone is so polite O_O! When we all go out to the clubs together, it's always tons of fun! XD

We ended up watching Microcosmos after, an awesome film about bugs. Of course,we had music playing in the background instead of the commentator, so now I have to watch it again XD I recommend it, it's cool to see a different bunch of societies.

So today I write my beginners test for my liscence. So many jobs here require one now, that I might as well get the ball rolling, 9 months will pass in no time, and meanwhile I'm learning how to drive in the winter city roads. I'm not nervous...and my star chart says today is a good day to do tests. <3

After that it's on to my friend's house to pick up Lotus' head and hopefully with some visit time but I'm running on a transfer :( Tomorrow to pick up a camera to use for temporary. I have a feeling that I will be able to borrow this camera for awhile as my ex has WAY bettter recording equipment...I'm pretty sure this camera is just going to waste for him, so I am happy to be able to use it...believe me. And it's better than my last camera.

I'm very excited....I will be able to have my stories started again soon. I have lost a lot of my characters and things, but eventually they will all come back...and for now there can be excuses as to why they're gone. There may even be deaths....I wonder who will die? I -did- post pics of the dolls I have left, so it's up to you to guess who will remain alive :P

I'm not really sure who my Puki Mary will be...I'm sure she'll tell me when she gets here. I have a sort of Calvin and Hobbes feel for her though....

My friend Eric is going to lend me a digital camera for awhile so I can start getting my dolly creativity back.

Last night is the first time in a long time that I wrote some of my novel. Not a lot, but a creative burst often spawns more creativity I find. Last night I wrote about Asmodeus, and I intend to finish it a bit more tomorrow after my chores.

It's really sad, but I'm using PBS to fill in the gaps in my history education.
There's a lot of stuff that we just didn't cover in school.

Being in Rhode Island, there was a heavy concentration on the colonization of the US, the Constitutional Congress, and the Revolutionary War. Then, we lightly touched on the war of 1812, and slammed into the Civil War. You would do a week or two on that, then speed forward, touch on the assassination of Arch-Duke Frances Ferdinand, skip over WWI, and spend the rest of the year doing WWII.
After that, NADA.
Nothing about Korea or Vietnam, or even the aftermath of WWII.

So, as to not be completly ignorant, I've been soaking up as many documentaries as I can.
It's also giving me an excuse to sit around and do nothing as I knit.

I'm not going anywhere today, except maybe to pick up my car. It's only 18, and it's just bitterly windy out there. I think I'm much better to stay inside with my kitties and my knitting and my history.

It snowed today, only for a few minutes mind you but it was nice. It felt like winter again and snowing in December is always a good sign, hasn't done that for a a few years now.

So after a month of searching I can opening say that my hair straighteners are indeed missing, so my dad has allowed me to order new ones. So I've picked Tony Clarke pair that was £50 now £23, they sadly won't arrive until Monday. Which means I will be using a round brush and my hair dryer to try and fix my fringe which develops a nice little flick up due to my glasses. As annoying as that is, I need to remember not he end of the world. At least my dad has enough commission so he doesn't have to pay for them, so free gift. That is what I need to think right now. Since I need to take my mind off loosing a babyliss one, they were great too and a Xmas gift at that.

In other news, my dress is done-ish. I need to finalize it by wearing it seeing if I need to fix it. Knowing my luck I will miss something. I will post pic once I've worn it, so I can review my full attempt and may be I'll wear it to the loli meet on Sunday. I'm excited about it but I'm also sad at the same time. Since I will be missing a doll meet that day. I actually wanted to have my Miryu next to some else's Miryu because I thought it would be cute. I did this with my D1-flexi Sophie at Edinburgh and I found it fun plus Chii has still to be taken out. Oh well, meeting new people. Even at that, other lolis. The last time I met others were at Auchi 08. Big day as they say.

Oh yeah, I'm going to uni in January. I'll be taking two art classes, mainly to pass the time until October where I will hopefully be going to uni for Japanese classes, missed out this year due to funding taking forever to get confirmed.. So may as well improve on my skills and maybe learn some new ones.
